We know that for many, a first meeting with a dietitian has historically meant being weighed and judged. At Plato Unida Nutrition™, your first session is a completely different experience. Below is how we will spend our first session together.

Roots of Nourishment ✳︎ ✳︎

The Opening

We start with your story. What brings you here? What have been your past experiences with nutrition and healthcare? We will also establish the boundaries of our safe space.

The Roots

We review your medical history, labs (if available), and current symptoms. We also discuss your cultural food traditions and what "nourishment" means to you personally.

The Collaboration

We discuss the science of your specific clinical needs (like blood sugar or digestion) through a weight-neutral lens. We look for the "why" behind your body's signals.

The Roadmap

We don't leave you with a list of "don'ts." We end by co-creating 2–3 gentle, additive intentions to focus on before our next session.

Shared experiences from past clients:

“Ashley is always very supportive both with my nutrition help, but also pulls in the mental health side of what is happening during this process which I appreciate more than I expected. She’s wonderful and I would recommend her all day long.”

“Great personality, very respectful and a great listener!!”

“Ashley was wonderful to work with. I’m looking forward to our next session.”
